All hemp products are legally required to contain less than 0.3% THC. At Every Day Optimal, our products go through an additional process to remove these small traces of THC, resulting in isolated CBD oil that has absolutely no THC. Isolate CBD products are perfect for those who are sensitive to THC or wish to avoid taking any amount of THC for other reasons.

How do I use 200mg CBD capsules?

Taking our 200mg CBD capsules is easy; simply take one capsule with water as you would any other supplement or pill. For more powerful relief, you can take one capsule twice per day. There is no maximum dose, and CBD oil does not need to be taken with food.

How much CBD oil do I need?

When it comes to CBD, everyone is different, so finding your ideal dose may require some trial and error. But don’t let that scare you – there’s some guidelines you can follow.

If you’re new to CBD, our 200mg capsules may be too strong. We recommend starting with a lower dose such as 20mg, and building up to a higher dose by increasing every 2-3 days. To keep things simple, stick with the same type of product – edibles, tinctures, and vaping are all absorbed differently in the body, which means the most effective dose can vary.

A large dose such as that provided by our high potency 200mg capsule is ideal for tough conditions like insomnia, epilepsy, and severe chronic pain.

Benefits of 200mg Cannabidiol

CBD has a huge variety of benefits to offer, thanks to the way it interacts with the body’s endocannabinoid system. The endocannabinoid system is a series of receptors throughout the body that are involved in many physiological processes, including sleep, mood, and digestion. The body actually creates its own endocannabinoids to help regulate all these processes – but like any other chemical in the body, our natural endocannabinoid levels can become unbalanced. Low endocannabinoid levels have been linked to conditions such as PTSD, fibromyalgia, and migraine[i].

So far, research has found that supplementing with CBD can help with many different issues, including:

Researchers are also studying CBD’s potential to reduce cancer cell growth and protect the brain from neurodegenerative disorders such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and Alzheimer’s disease[XVI].

With 200mg of CBD per serving, our potent 200mg capsules are ideal for many severe conditions.

Note that CBD has not been evaluated by the FDA and it is not yet approved to treat any medical conditions. Always consult with a medical professional before taking CBD or any other supplement.

Benefits of Digestive Administration

The world of CBD is full of variety, but most CBD products fall into just a few categories: edibles, vape liquids, and tinctures. Each has its own pros and cons.

Though it may not seem like CBD capsules have anything in common with a CBD oil brownie, they’re both edibles, since they’re processed the same way in the body (via the digestive system). Edibles take a little bit longer to work than other products, but the effects will last much longer. While some edibles might be sweet (like gummies) or messy (like peanut butter), capsules are the easiest no-fuss edible there is. That said, they may not be right for you if you hate swallowing pills.

On the other hand, vape liquids, as well as tinctures taken sublingually (under the tongue) bypass the digestive system and are absorbed into the bloodstream rapidly. This makes them fast-acting, but the effects don’t last as long as edibles. Tinctures and vape liquids therefore may need to be used throughout the day to obtain the same long-lasting relief offered by edibles. However, some people prefer tinctures or vaping due to their higher bioavailability.

What is bioavailability?

Bioavailability refers to the amount of a substance that’s actually absorbed into your system. For example, if you’re in the hospital and given medication via IV, the bioavailability is 100% because it’s going directly into your bloodstream. If you take that same medication in pill form, it has a lower bioavailability since it must be digested first, so less of the active medicine will go into your system.

When it comes to CBD, this means that taking a capsule containing 25mg of CBD doesn’t mean 25mg of CBD makes it to your bloodstream. It’s usually a lower amount – estimated to be between just 4-20%. Although sublingual tinctures and vape liquids have higher bioavailability (estimated to be from 20-56%), they aren’t necessarily “better” – the trade-off is that the effects of edibles will last longer. In addition, capsules provide the most precise dose of CBD out of any CBD product.

Full spectrum CBD vs Isolate CBD

A full spectrum CBD oil product contains all of the other cannabinoids and terpenes extracted from the cannabis plant, including THC. Isolate CBD products, on the other hand, go through additional processing to remove all other cannabinoids besides CBD.

Isolate products don’t necessarily contain more CBD than full spectrum, nor do they need to be used any differently. Some prefer full spectrum CBD products due to what’s called “the entourage effect.” This refers to the interaction of CBD with other cannabinoids. In essence, some people find CBD is more powerful when it’s taken alongside THC and other cannabinoids.

Full spectrum CBD products are allowed to contain up to 0.3% THC by law. Though 0.3% THC isn’t enough to get you high, it may flag on drug tests or cause problems for those with THC sensitivities. Many people prefer isolate CBD products since they don’t contain any traces of THC or any other cannabinoids that may have undesired effects.

At Every Day Optimal all of our products are made with isolate CBD, and therefore contain no additional cannabinoids and zero THC.

How do I find high quality CBD online?

Not all CBD products are created equal… but finding a trustworthy CBD vendor doesn’t have to be a challenge. Here’s a few tips on what to look for.

Growing practices

Finding quality CBD all starts with the hemp plant. Reputable CBD vendors will be aware of the growing conditions of the hemp they use, and ensure their products are screened for any harmful substances.

Every Day Optimal’s CBD products are made from 100% clean grown industrial hemp, and are free of contaminants such as heavy metals and pesticides.

There are many different ways to extract CBD from the hemp plant, with the most inexpensive method utilizing solvents such as butane, ethanol, and low-grade alcohol. These solvents, while cost-effective, may be irritating to the body, and they can also extract chlorophyll or other harmful substances from the plant.

Another common method uses pressurized carbon dioxide to remove CBD from cannabis. This method is more expensive, but results in a purer and cleaner product. CO2 extraction is the preferred method for making CBD products, and it’s what we use at Every Day Optimal.

3rd party lab testing

Unfortunately, some businesses are exploiting the popularity of CBD and selling products containing low levels of CBD or no CBD at all. To avoid accidentally purchasing fake or incorrectly labeled CBD products, look for suppliers who use a 3rd party lab to confirm the purity and quality of their products.
