Cuvee Weed Strain | Cuvee Strain Taste

cuvee marijuana strain indica

If you had to ask us what might be better than a delicious French Cuvee wine perhaps our only legitimate response would be the Cuvee strain of Indica. A strain for the true connoisseur, Cuvee weed strain is delicious and potent. It was originally created through a collaboration between TGA Genetics and Aficionado Seeds.

This strain is not to be confused with other strains similar to its parent strains. These include Star Killer Strain, Dark Star Strain, Lemonhead strain, Chem 91 strain, and Purple Candy strain. The reason this can be confusing is that Space Queen, one of Cuvee’s parent strains, has many similarities to these other strains.

Cuvee Weed Strain: Indica or Sativa?

Cuvee weed strain is an Indica, and seasoned users will pick up on typical indica effects right away. With that being said, Cuvee strain doesn’t really produce couch lock unless you’re using it in either seriously high dosages or for prolonged periods of time.

Cuvee Weed Strain genetics

As mentioned previously, Cuvee was created by TGA Genetics and Aficionado Seeds. These two companies are very well known in the breeding world (in particular TGA Genetics) for having created some of the most well-known strains in the cannabis community. What should be noted is that one of the strains which Cuvee weed strain comes from is exceptionally rare:

  • Space Queen
  • Pinot Noir

The likelihood of you ever stumbling across Pinot Noir is incredibly low. Space Queen, on the other hand, is a relatively well-known strain. Space Queen is a legendary hybrid strain that brought together Romulan and Cinderella 99. Space Queen is mainly known for its flavor, which it passed onto Cuvee weed strain.

Cuvee Weed Strain THC percentage

The average Indica strain has around 13% THC content. Cuvee strain has a slightly higher THC percentage, and, depending on the phenotype, can test up to 19% THC. The average content of this strain is about 17%, but it all depends on the phenotype and the growth.

Cuvee Weed Strain price

Cuvee is not only a rare strain, but its seeds are also not available from the original seller. This, unfortunately, means that you’re going to be paying a lot of money for this strain. The average price of this strain is about $15 a gram. However, because demand isn’t too high, you may be able to snag this strain at a lower price of about $10 a gram.

Cuvee Strain taste

Cuvee is well known for its taste. The taste is particularly good if you enjoy Cuvee inside a flower vaporizer. This is because there’s no burning of plant material or papers, allowing for the full flavor to be enjoyed as intended. You should also grind this herb up first, as this allows for the full flavor profile to be released. If you do vape this bud and grind it up first you will be able to taste:

  • Sweet
  • Berry
  • Pineapple

Cuvee Strain oil, wax, shatter, edibles, etc.

Cuvee is particularly good for making concentrates. Concentrate creators look for high resin production on their buds, and that is exactly what Cuvee offers. The other factor that concentrates creators look for is taste, which Cuvee also offers in abundance. In short, this strain is a perfect concentrate creator. However, making BHO (Butane Hash Oil) is considered dangerous, and some people have burnt their houses down in this process. Be careful if you do attempt it.

You can also make practically any strain into edibles. You simply have to decarboxylate your cannabis first. If you don’t do this then your cannabis edibles will not be very potent. The other thing you have to do is to mix your cannabis with either a fat or oil, which allows them to be digested into your system properly.

This Indica strain is perfect for stress after a long day at work. This is because it may leave some users feeling a little lethargic. That is why you don’t want to smoke it for stress in the morning. It’s definitely a nighttime strain. It may also help some users with pain, and headaches. However, cannabis is never a catch-all treatment, so you may have to test a few strains out to find the one that’s best for you.

If you do find yourself glued to the couch after a particularly long session of smoking, you may find it useful to follow this guide on how to get rid of couch-lock:

  • Have a cold shower
  • Have some coffee
  • Go for a swim or a run, or just work out

This will remove your couch lock. Another important thing to remember is that couch lock is really in your head, and you can simply ignore it. Interestingly enough, some people actually attest to the benefits of working out on indicas. You simply have to get over the couch-lock effects first.

Cuvee Weed Strain flowering time

The flowering time of Cuvee is about 7-9 weeks, making this strain a very quick to grow strain. You should leave this strain for the entire grow cycle to allow the flavor to fully develop.

Cuvee Strain growing tips

This strain is a bushy indica. This means that you may need to top the plant, which means removing the bushy leaves at the top of the plant. What does topping a marijuana plant do? This allows light and nutrients to get to the bottom of the plant, which may not have been possible before because of the bushy leaves at the top of the plant. This increases yield.

Cuvee Strain seeds

Aficionado seeds are no longer for sale, unfortunately. However, there are a lot of seed companies that claim to sell Cuvee seeds. It’s up to you to attempt to distinguish between the real ones and the fake ones.

Cuvee Strain yield

The yield is about 1-3 ounces per foot squared, which is around average.

What is the Cuvee strain?

The Cuvee weed strain is named after the French wine blend. It is called this because of its parent strain, Pinot Noir, and the fact that it is in itself a lovely blend of two different strains. It’s a reasonably potent indica that, after prolonged use, may leave the user feeling rather glued to the couch. However, the taste and potency is top notch and Cuvee is one of the best strains to make concentrates with.

  • Fantastic flavour
  • Seeds not available online
  • Heavyish indica
  • Quite potent
  • Need to top the plant
  • Should be enjoyed inside a flower vaporiser
  • Collab between two well known breeders, TGA Genetics and Aficionado Seeds
