Tikun Hemp: Your new favourite affordable CBD source!
Tikun Hemp was started by the famous Tikun Olam philanthropic organization back in 2005. Tikun Olam was the world’s first organization licensed to produce and distribute medical cannabis. Even though Tikun Hemp just recently launched, their roots are deeply embedded in the medical marijuana industry.
All of Tikun Hemp’s products are made with full broad-spectrum CBD grown in Colorado. Each product is subjected to three rounds of testing to ensure the product contains all of the stuff you do want and none of the stuff you don’t. It’s tested during three key steps in the process:
- After cultivation
- After the oil is extracted
- The final product is then tested by a third party
The results of the final tests are then posted online for customers to have easy access to. All of their products are gluten-free, non-GMO, vegan, pesticide-free, and contain no heavy metals.

What we sampled
Product: Tikun Hemp 300mg CBD Oil
Ingredients: Olam Oil Blend (safflower oil, avocado oil, coconut oil), orange peel extract, terpenes, and broad-spectrum hemp CBD oil. Less than 0.3% THC
Recommended Dosage: half a dropper
Amount We Took: half a dropper one day, full dropper the next.
What we liked about itWe found Tikun Hemp’s 300mg CBD oil to be a very clean product. We love that they have the lab results posted online; because CBD is still unregulated, having access to the test results for your product is important.
The effects were moderate when we increased the dosage, but it is a product with a lower dosage to begin with. One thing that we especially like is that, because it’s in a small bottle, there’s more concentration of CBD in each dose than you typically find in a bigger bottle marked with the same dosage.
The smell of this CBD oil is really nice, light and citrusy, like someone just cut into a fresh orange. The consistency is about what you’d expect from a CBD oil, but the oil combination does give it a more oily texture than, say, Populum. You can tell from taste, smell, and effect that this is a high-quality product.

We weren’t too crazy about Tikun's low dosage. Those of us trying the CBD oil were used to higher dosages of CBD, and thus didn’t experience many effects. When the recommended dosage was doubled, we found it to be moderately effective, but didn’t experience our desired results. Rather than take even more of the product, we supplemented with additional, stronger CBD.

Why should you try TikunTikun is a name you can trust. They’ve been around for as long as medical marijuana has, seriously! They were the first company licensed to produce and distribute medical marijuana back in 2005. They’ve been making high-quality marijuana products for a very long time; they know what they’re doing.
Tikun CBD oil is incredibly affordable, especially for being the high-quality and full broad-spectrum CBD that it is. They also offer a 30-day trial period where you can return your CBD for a full refund if you don’t like it.

Things to know before you buyAs we said above, CBD is not regulated yet, so you want to be sure you’re purchasing it from a company you can trust. That's one reason why we're fans of Tikun. They've made all the results from the lab tests of your products easily available online.
There are a lot of factors that can affect the proper dosage of CBD from person-to-person. For the best results, we recommend always taking it with a full stomach, placing the entire dose under your tongue instead of just anywhere in your mouth, and starting with the smallest dosage. You can always take more if this doesn’t give you the desired results, but it’s awfully hard to take less at that point if you’ve taken too much.

It’s important to note that prolonged use of CBD oil could cause you to fail a cannabis drug test, should you need to take one. It takes a while for the small amount of THC within CBD oil to build up in your system enough, but it is possible. If you’re in a position where you’re required to submit to random drug tests, CBD might not be the best option for you.
ConclusionTikun Hemp’s 300mg CBD is a great, clean product from a company you can trust. It’s very affordable (retailing around $45) and they have higher dosage CBD products available, if you’re like us and need a little more to get your desired results.
While we weren’t too crazy about the taste of Tikun Hemp’s CBD oil, it is a little better than non-flavoured CBD oil. Besides, for a lot of CBD oil users, the flavour isn’t a deal-breaker for them.
The highlights of Tikun Hemp 300mg CBD oil:
- Effective and clean
- Trustworthy company with 15+ years experience
- Good smell
The lowlight of Tikun Hemp 300mg CBD oil:
- 300mg not strong enough for those of us who tested it
All-in-all, Tikun Hemp is a great product that you should consider trying. The low dosage and trustworthy name make it perfect for all of those new to CBD.
