This is my own personal choice. I have never had a herbal vape which I’ve been truly happy with until I invested just under $100 into one. Normally, pens have poor build quality, meaning they break and/or melt easily. I would say that Storm Vaporizer is one of the best portable weed vaporizers for just under $100. Not just dry herb vapes, Storm pens are a 3-in-1 vaporizer, which means you can vape your concentrates, oils, hash, and dried herbs inside one vaporizer. The Storm Vaporizer has 5 settings, the incredibly low setting, low medium, medium, medium-high, and high. This mix of settings gives you a large amount of freedom and the ability to pick how high you want to get at that time. You can also plan your already vaped bud around your vaping temperature. The high build quality of the Storm Vaporizer means it never really feels like it’s going to break, which is a great feeling! It’s a very versatile vaporizer, and it has a simple button which means you can swap between vape modes, as well as simply turning it on and off. The battery is a powerful 2680mAh customer battery, which should allow you to get a full days vaping out of one charge. This vaporizer looks like a walkman, and has a different shape to most vaporizers which look like e-cigarettes. While battery life may not be a huge selling point, the good news is that the Nova Battery is actually compatible with 510 threaded cartridges, and can be charged via micro-USB. It comes with a loading and stirring tool built into the mouthpiece, and concentrates can easily be loaded straight into the tank. With the accessories you're able to keep the vapor path clear and enjoy a smooth hit. It’s a very cheap portable vaporizer, so the user should note that the quality may not be the highest, and it may break easily. However, for a first vape pen for those who want to try vaping concentrates or dried flower, you’re not going to find much better for under 30.

This means that somewhere in the process of making the vapor, the vapor for these wooden boxes isn’t as thick as is therefore not as powerful. The vaporizer Pax is known in the business for being one of the best portable vaporizers on the market. However, their latest model, The Pax 3, is particularly expensive but with great perks. You can easily switch between concentrates and dried flower, and has very dense vapor which is going to get you pretty stoned. This vapor will travel the vapor path within 20 seconds, which is a quick heat-up time. The latest Pax 3 battery is much more powerful than the Pax 2, but a low battery life means it only lasts about 10 sessions per charge. There is also a mobile app which you can download with your Pax 3. Pax is a reliable brand, but in our opinion it’s overpriced - it may be worth looking for a coupon code if you can find one! It’s still a good vaporizer, but at over 250 it’s at the high-end, so you need to be confident that it offers everything you're looking for in a vape.

What is the best temperature to vape weed?

Most portable dry herb vaporizers have a bunch of preset temperatures, there are normally either 3 or 5 colors. It is recommended that you don’t use the lowest temperature or the highest temperature except in certain situations. You should use the lower temperature available if you want to ease an overly potent edible out of your dry herb vape pen. Already vaped bud which had been vaped at a low temperature is actually perfectly decarboxylated cannabis. Decarboxylation is the process through which you turn THCA (raw THC) into THC. This process requires heat, and normally you would have to put weed in the oven in order to decarboxylate it. You can use the highest temperature on a vaporizer to get very high in that moment. The taste isn’t as good and it’s a lot harsher than you might expect. However, it’s slightly more powerful than a bong hit and may take a few moments to kick in. But the already vaped bud created from the highest temperature is nowhere near as potent, because a lot more of the THC has been used. The middle temperature has a great flavour, while also being pretty potent. Finally, it also has potency in the already vaped bud. This makes it the perfect temperature and in my opinion, means that you can get the highest with the nicest taste. Medical marijuana vaporizers are the best in the middle as well, for these reasons.

 

Can you put kief in a vaporizer?

It is possible to put kief in a vaporizer; your pen will still heat it and generate vapor production. The best way to do this is to put an amount of dried flower inside the vaporizing chamber first. Once you’ve done this, you can put a nice amount of kief on top of it. Kief is very potent. Kief is basically the crystals which collect at the bottom of a 3 piece grinder. These grinders have crystal catchers at the bottom, and if you have a nice quality bud then you will find that there are huge amounts of crystals at the bottom. Kief tastes fantastic and gets you incredibly high. That is because the THC content inside kief is very high. If you put kief inside a vaporizer it also means that the already vaped bud is more potent as well.

 

How should I go about cleaning my vaporizer and keeping it in the best condition?

First of all, if you buy a cheap vaporizer, be incredibly careful. There are two main things that can go wrong with these vaporizers. The pen or a glass stem can break if you drop them very easily, and if the mouthpiece breaks you will have to buy a new one. These can be pretty difficult to find, especially if you bought from a third party. While it’s not completely impossible to find them, it’s pretty difficult to find the specific mouthpiece for the specific herbal vape which you have. Another problem is that cheap vapes can melt plastic mouthpieces. This means you could potentially inhale plastic, which can obviously do you quite a lot of damage. This also means that the mouthpiece will be broken as well. Looking for a glass mouthpiece is recommended.

Another tip you can use to make sure your herbal vape battery lasts for as long as possible is to allow it to run to 0% when using it, and then charge it to 100% every time. This means that the battery will last longer, and means that you won’t have to replace it. This is very worth doing as it means you don’t have to spend more money constantly replacing the battery.
