This makes it a balanced strain, which can be used to treat a number of different conditions. We will talk about these later on in the post. This strain was originally created by Breeder’s Choice. It brings together two much-loved strains in the cannabis community, and the end result couldn’t be better. The two strains brought together in Blue Diesel Weed are:

Blueberry is an Indica-dominant strain, and NYC Diesel is a Sativa-dominant strain. Thus, the end result is a fantastically balanced hybrid strain.  

Blue City Diesel THC percentage

The average Indica-dominant hybrid or indica contains around 12.5% THC. The average Blue City Diesel phenotype has 17% THC. The strongest that you can find this strain at is 23% THC, and this particular phenotype is likely to blow your socks off. This high THC percentage is useful for a number of different things, especially something like depression. Depression is very hard to treat, and so you need a high THC percentage as well as a balanced strain.

This means that the price is driven down, as growers can buy the seeds and then sell the buds. The taste was the original reason for breeding this bud. The taste of this strain can only be fully appreciated after you grind it up and stick it into your flower vaporizer. Blue Diesel Weed Strain oil, wax, shatter, edibles, etc.

Blue City Diesel also makes a very good shatter, wax, or concentrate. This is because concentrate creators look for two things: taste and THC content. Blue City Diesel has an amazing taste and it has a fairly high THC content, which helps it turn into a fantastic concentrate. However, creating your own BHO (Butane Hash Oil) is considered dangerous. That is mainly because Butane is highly flammable, and some people have burnt their houses down attempting to create shatter. It’s better, and a lot safer, to simply travel to a country like North America where they have to shatter more readily available.

You can easily create edibles from any strain you like. There are two basic methods of doing this. Number one is to decarboxylate your weed in the oven and mix it with a fat or oil. Both of these are vital steps to making edibles. Without doing both of these first, your edibles will not work. The second is to use your Already Vaped Bud (AVB) from your vaporizer and mix it with a fat or oil. Already Vaped Bud is actually a perfectly decarboxylated weed.

As an Indica-dominant hybrid sitting at a 60/40 split, this strain is fantastic for stress and depression. Depression, as mentioned previously, is very hard to treat. Thus, it needs the euphoric head high of a Sativa mixed with the relaxing, warm hug of an indica. This is not a treatment for everyone and is very dependent on how you actually react to cannabis. However, if you know that cannabis works for you as a medicine, then definitely give Blue City Diesel a try for depression.

The flowering time of Blue Diesel is 7-9 weeks. It’s highly recommended that you leave it for the full 9 weeks to get the full THC content and flavor.

Blue City Diesel will grow up to 6 feet tall, meaning that you will have to plan for this well in advance. The bud structure is very dense and may have some purple hues inside them. The buds are covered in orange hairs, which stand out against the blue, purple, and green of the buds.
