Goji OG Strain | Queen Mother Goji Strain
Goji OG strain was created by master breeders Bodhi Seeds. It’s a reasonably potent sativa-dominant hybrid, but it's not so strong that it will flatten you out for the day. It has a fantastically fruity taste to it, hence the name. The best thing about this strain is that it contains CBD inside, which is what helps balance the strain overall. It’s also completely covered in resinous crystals, and also some orange and red hairs. If you want to get the maximum out of this strain, you should definitely allow it to dry out first and then grind it up.This strain is sometimes called Black Goji Berry, Queen Mother Goji, Goji Berry strain, Gucci Berry, and Purple Goji strain.

Goji OG: Indica or Sativa?Goji OG strain is a sativa-dominant hybrid. It’s only slightly on the sativa-dominant side, which makes it absolutely perfect for a number of medical issues, which will be discussed a little further down the article. Its name comes from the Himalayan berry, which hearkens back to its Nepalese heritage. It’s a great strain for medicinal users and for recreational users alike, and, thankfully, the seeds are available from the original breeder.
Goji OG geneticsBodhi Seeds are legendary growers and breeders. They are known for many strains, and their mark is a stamp of approval on any strains they create. This also means you can buy their seeds from the original breeders, meaning you don’t have to worry about snake oil salesmen. The three strains that were bred together to create Goji OG were:
- Snow Lotus
- OG Kush
You know that OG Kush is in this strain because it has the magical two letters after its name: OG. OG Kush relatives all have something in common; they carry on the potency from their parents to their own THC content. A lot of the time they also take the flavor associated with OG Kush and mix it with their own flavors.
Goji OG THC percentageThe average hybrid has around 13%. Goji OG strain, on the other hand, shines through much more strongly. The average phenotype of this strain tests at around 20%, whereas the strongest phenotypes can have up to 22%. This whopping number means that you know this strain will pack a punch. Because it’s (slightly) sativa-dominant, some users may find that they are slightly overwhelmed by this strain. If you do feel too high after smoking Goji OG, follow this guide for feeling less high:
- Have a cold shower
- Drink some coffee
- Work out or go to a quiet room and relax by yourself for a while
- Focus on your breathing, and remember that it’s all in your head
Goji OG priceGoji OG strain isn’t that expensive. That is because it’s not considered a massively dank strain, and also because the seeds are available from the original breeder online. This means that the seeds are easy to come by, and, therefore, anyone can grow it. Thus, the supply is much higher. Furthermore, as previously stated, the strain isn’t considered to be super dank. This means that the demand is lower. It's simple economics: when demand is low and supply is high, the price is low. Hence, you shouldn’t be paying any more than $10 a gram for this strain.
Goji OG tasteAlthough Goji OG strain isn’t the epitome of dankness, it does have a fantastic flavor. This is because it’s a landrace cross strain mixed with OG Kush inside. This gives it a fantastically fruity taste, which will taste even better inside a flower vaporizer. This is because there’s no combustion of plant material, and also no combustion of paper. The full taste palate of this strain is:
Goji OG oil, wax, shatter, edibles, etc.As this strain is covered in trichomes, it makes for a perfect concentrate. It also tastes great, which is the other key thing that most concentrate makers look for. However, creating your own Butane Hash Oil is considered to be very dangerous. Some people have even burnt their own houses down in the process. So if you do attempt this, please be exceptionally careful.
Edibles can easily be made from any strain. Simply decarboxylate your weed first. "But Mr.! I don’t want to put my weed in the oven for an hour, it’ll just get burnt!" We hear you, but relax, it's okay! Your weed won't get burnt. In fact, we're doing you a favor because without heating it up you won't get any of the high; you might as well eat raw weed (which definitely won't get you high). Worry not. Your weed won't burn, but your edibles will get you toasty!

Goji OG flowering timeThe flowering time of Goji OG is about 9 weeks. You should leave it for the full 9 weeks to allow for full potency and flavor to develop.
Goji OG growing tipsThe newer seeds which have been brought out by Bodhi Seeds are reported to be much stronger, meaning you won’t need to support them. However, you should definitely top this plant, as it grows very tall. Also, you can grow Goji OG indoors or outdoors.

What is the Goji OG strain?Goji OG, or Goji Berry, is an exceptionally fruity strain that brings together three different strains. It was created by Bodhi Seeds for both taste and potency. It achieves both of these aims, particularly with its highly sought-after taste. This only gets better when vaped inside a flower vaporiser, rather than smoked through a joint or a blunt.
