A popular member of the OG Kush family, Tahoe OG is a fast-acting high. Clearly, this may not be your best option for the great outdoors. Though, it may be a perfect fit for that rainy day when you are stuck indoors for the rest of the day and want to spark a bit of lazy day fun.

Background
The Tahoe OG weed strain's origins can be traced back to its hometown of Lake Tahoe in California. A marijuana icon who lived there in the ’80s helped popularize the strain in the region, and it was only a matter of time before the strain would find its way into the hands of many users in most parts of America and neighboring regions. The strain enjoys its highest popularity in Michigan, Colorado, and much of the West of America.
Characterized by red and orange hairs, the rich kush has become one of the leading go-to strains among users seeking to combat insomnia using legal cannabis. Not only does it induce mental relaxation and bodily sedation, but it does it fast.

Fresh from the farms, a typical Tahoe OG calyx is rich green in color and marked by a strong smell. This aroma is basically a blend of earth and lemon, smooth enough to easily inhale yet powerful enough to numb your senses and give you the relaxation you long for.
This relaxation inducement has over the years made this strain a great choice for users who suffer from Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and ADHD. It helps them focus their ever-absent mind on the work they have at hand.
Following this feeling of relaxation comes some induced euphoria and some basic stimulation for creativity. The medicinal effect will peak a couple of minutes from inhalation and can last up to 3 hours, keeping the user relaxed for most of the day - more depending on the quantity of intake.
Lineage
The strain takes its ancestry from three sources: San Fernando Valley OG Kush, OG Kush, and Afghani.
Appearance
A mature Tahoe OG weed strain features a neon green coloration. This green is covered by trichomes which consists of pale bristle-like hairs and some yellowish-orange pistils. Naturally, these trichomes store more quantities of the cannabinoid, THC, than the rest of the plant – per unit area, of course.

Aroma/Flavor
The strain’s aroma and taste can best be described as lemony, with a touch of earthiness.
Indoor/Outdoor
Tahoe OG Kush adapts perfectly to climatic conditions; hence can be easily grown both indoors and outdoors. For cultivators who grow the plant indoors, a yield of between 10 and 12 ounces can be expected for each meter squared. But in outdoor conditions, cultivators can expect the same quantity of yield from just one plant.
Qualities
This strain is extremely potent and is principally a nightmare to insomnia as it helps users achieve relaxation in a matter of minutes after inhalation. Similarly, you can enjoy a high like Skywalker OG or Trainwreck.
