However, if you don’t have a syringe, you can figure out how to refill vape cartridge without syringe. You simply follow this same process, but with an eyedropper instead of a syringe.

 

Step One: Unscrew the mouthpiece

The first thing you want to do is open the cartridge up, so you’ll need to know how to open a disposable vape pen. You can do this by twisting off the mouthpiece, which may take three or more full rotations counterclockwise to free the thread holding it in place. If you can’t get it off, the cartridge may not be able to be refilled.
 
Once you’ve got the mouthpiece free of the thread, remove it entirely. Be sure to set it in a safe place close by so you won’t lose it. Without it, your cartridge is totally useless.

 

Step Two: Fill with your oil

Using an eyedropper or a syringe, fill the cartridge with your oil. We find a syringe to be much easier with less risk of leaking products. We recommend leaving the cartridge attached to your battery to help you hold onto it better throughout this process, lowering your chance of accidents.
 
Be careful to not overfill your cartridge. Most cartridges are designed to hold 1 gram or 0.5 grams of oil or e-juice. Know how large your cartridges are and don’t overfill them, or you won’t be able to use them properly and you’ll be out the oil.

 

Step Three: Put your cartridge back together

Grab the mouthpiece from the safe place you put it in earlier and screw it back into place. You want to be sure the mouthpiece is fully in place and firmly screwed on, but you don’t want to overdo it. If you screw it on too tightly, you could break the cartridge.
