Dosido or Do-Si-Dos strain is an Indica-dominant hybrid, which shares a lot of its best qualities with the world-renowned Girl Scout Cookies (GSC) strain. You will recognize the bud structure, the trichomes, and the hairs that cover GSC when you look at its child, Dosidos. The flavor is probably the most important part of this Dosido strain, which it definitely inherited from GSC. This makes it a perfect strain to get your trusty flower vaporizer out for. Dosido: indica or sativa?

Dosido is one of those magical strains that sits in the very middle between Sativa and Indica. These are amongst the most sought after cannabis seeds in the world for a variety of reasons, which we will get into a bit later. The main thing you need to know for now is that these strains are popular for both medicinal uses and for recreational use. As such, Dosido is a popular, well-balanced Indica strain. The strain itself is very potent, and you can see this on the trichomes that cover the strain as well as from the smell of it. The popcorn-shaped plant buds, which are a bright, lime green colour, look ripe for grinding. To fully appreciate this strain you should definitely grind it first, which will allow for all of the goodness to take full form.

Dosido genetics 

It’s hard to say which seed bank or breeding company originally came up with the idea of Dosido. Thankfully, however, Dosido's parent strain is well-documented:
 

• Girl Scout Cookies
• Face-Off OG strain

 
GSC is an exceptional strain known around the world. The face-Off strain is known for being a strong OG Kush Phenotype. Thus, a lot of people call Dosido something like Dosido OG. Some breeders have even gone as far as to remake Dosido but with one of the even more popular GSC phenotypes, such as Thin Mint Cookies or Platinum Cookies.

Dosido THC Levels

This is where this Dosido strain really excels. If you know anything about weed, you will know that OG Kush is often used for its exceptionally high THC percentage. This is why many breeders use it and/or its THC-heavy relatives to create a dankenstein. Dosido strain is no different. The average balanced hybrid has around 13% THC, whereas the average Dosido strain has a whopping 24% THC levels. The stronger phenotypes can sometimes test at 30%, which is amongst the highest THC percentages available in buds. Now that you know this, please exercise caution if you’re a relatively new stoner. This Dosido strain can truly knock your socks off.
 

Dosido price

Although the seeds are available online, this dosido strain is still considered to be an exceptional strain. As such, the price is reasonably high, although not ridiculous. In a dispensary in North America, you’re looking at spending $15 for a gram of Dosido. In Amsterdam, the dosido strain is a bit harder to find, and you’ll probably have to pay about $20 a gram.
 

Dosido taste

With parent strains that include OG Kush and GSC, from this information alone you know that we have a tasty strain on our hands. Definitely one for the flower vaporizer, Dosido’s taste profile is:

Stickevape has Dosido or Do-Si-Dos  Strain as one of its options, but, obviously, this is a company that is only available in North America. Dosido strain is popular amongst concentrate makers because it’s a boutique strain with a great taste and the THC percentage is very high. These are both qualities that all concentrate makers look for in strains. You could also attempt to make the concentrates yourself, however, making Butane Hash Oil (BHO) is considered very dangerous, so please exercise extreme caution.
 
You can also make any strain you like into an edible. There are two ways to do this. First is to use your Already Vaped Bud (AVB) from your vaporizer and mixing it with either a fat or oil. This is definitely the easiest way, and (although it may seem strange) the AVB is actually still incredibly potent marijuana. This can knock your socks off, so definitely be careful. The other method is to first cook your weed. This is called decarboxylation, and fully activates the potency of your edibles.

Dosido or Do-Si-Dos Strain is a classic example of a 50/50 hybrid. As such, it’s considered to be one of the best strains for curbing depression. If you can imagine getting a warming body buzz from an indica whilst also feeling the absolute euphoria of a sativa, then you can begin to understand why Do-si-Do weed strain is a depression curber. Furthermore, this strain will melt stress and maybe even chronic pain. However, it could leave you feeling a little overwhelmed. If this is the case, then you can follow these tips to stop you from feeling so high:

• Take a cold shower
• Drink a hot coffee
• Take a few moments to lie down and breathe

This strain grows a lot like GSC but is slightly taller. It’s a fairly difficult strain to grow and can be grown much more easily inside than outside. This is even more true if you live in an environment where there is a wide range between daytime temperatures and nighttime temperatures.

As you can see in the pictures below that this strain also reacts very well to the Screen of Green or Sea of Green growing techniques. You may also need carbon air filters or exhaust fans for some effective odor control measures. Dosido is delicious and worth the effort, but it has an exceptionally pungent smell that growers should be aware of!
