First off, let's start with the foundation of what we're talking about...
What is CBD?
Cannabidiol, or CBD, is very similar to its cousin marijuana, but without the THC. It’s “a naturally occurring compound found in [...] cannabis.” CBD has many known health benefits with limited to no side effects and no psychoactive components. CBD has gained its recent popularity due to its effectiveness. Many people enjoy getting the health benefits cannabis provides without the intoxication.

What are the benefits of CBD?
CBD offers many health benefits that allow people to use it as an alternative to harsh medication that often comes with negative side effects. CBD can be used to treat a wide variety of conditions like chronic pain and anxiety, but it can also be helpful for the following conditions:- Autoimmune diseases like inflammation and rheumatoid arthritis
- Metabolic syndromes like diabetes and obesity
- Neurological conditions like Alzheimer’s, multiple sclerosis, dementia, stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s chorea, and traumatic brain injuries
- Gut disorders like colitis and Crohn’s
- Neuropsychiatric illnesses like autism, PTSD, alcoholism, and ADHD
- Cardiovascular dysfunction like atherosclerosis and arrhythmia
- Skin diseases like psoriasis, acne, and dermatitis
There are many ongoing studies involving CBD’s neuroprotective effects and anticancer properties, as well. In 2010, it was discovered that CBD “enhances the inhibitory effects of THC on human glioblastoma cell proliferation and survival,” meaning that CBD can make THC more helpful towards anticancer efforts.

How to consume CBD oil
There are a number of ways to access the healing benefits of CBD oil. While you can absorb it through the skin with a topical product, drink it using a tincture, or eat it in an edible (like these CBD gummies), the most effective way to consume CBD is through vaping oil. There are a couple of different options for how you go about vaping CBD oil. First off, you can smoke CBD oil concentrates like you would marijuana dabs with a rig. You can also use portable vapes for concentrates which will allow you to vape CBD in the same way you would take dabs, but on the go. The most convenient option, however, is to use a CBD oil vape pen. Much like an e-cig or weed oil pens, CBD vape pens use CBD vape cartridges filled with full spectrum CBD vape juice to allow you to vape your CBD oil anywhere with just the push of a button.

There are many CBD vaporizer pens available on the market from which you can choose. There’s very little difference between an e-cig base, a hash oil pen, and a full spectrum CBD vape pen. The main thing you want to watch for is the threading (size of the cartridge where it connects to the base) and the voltage. Most vape pens have 510 threading. For a CBD oil vape pen, you’re going to want a pen with variable voltage so you can adjust it to vape at just the right temperature. You can use your own oil to replace a refillable cartridge, just look up specifics on how to use a vape pen for oil for your particular model.

CBD vaping dangers
There aren’t too many hazards of vaping, but as with everything, there are certain dangers and/or side effects of which you should be aware. Here are some questions we’ve seen:- Does vaping cause lung cancer?
- Is vaping CBD safe?
- What are the dangers of vaping too much?
- Why do I get chest pain from vaping?
- What are the risks of vaping?
- Why is my vape burning throat?
A big negative of vaping is that, while it’s better for you than smoking, it comes with similar risks. Any time you’re introducing heat to your throat and lungs, you run the risk of developing cancer. The more you do it, the higher those risks. The best thing you can do to avoid vaping cancer is to vape oil at a low temperature and be sure to cool your hits off in your mouth before inhaling deeply. Don’t hold your hits for too long, as it’s unnecessary prolonged exposure to heat.
Vaping CBD is safe for the most part. There are some risks, as mentioned above, but they’re minor. If your vape burns throat, try taking smaller hits and pulling the vapour into your mouth to mix air in as you inhale; this will cool down the hit and minimize any sore throat from vaping. If you’re wondering how to vape correctly, that’s how. If you experience chest pain from vaping, you might want to consult a doctor. Vaping and asthma don’t always go hand-in-hand, but it is easier to vape with asthma than smoke.
If you feel like you’re vaping too much, slow down. There aren’t too many dangers of vaping too much, just like there aren’t many vape side effects.

Effects of vaping CBD oil
If you choose to use a vape for CBD oil over, say, eating or drinking it, you can enjoy many benefits. Vaping allows you to get the most out of your liquid CBD because you get to control the temperature. Different vape temperatures enact different properties of the oil, so by mastering your pen you're also mastering your CBD effects!
When you vape essential oil or pure CBD vape oil, you’re getting all the great health benefits of CBD and those essential oils faster than if you were to eat them but in a less harmful way than if you were to smoke them.
How to find safe CBD oil, concentrates, cartridges, and pens
CBD remains largely unregulated in the US. If you want to find safe, reliable CBD vape oil or CBD oil vape juice you’ll have to do a decent amount of research to determine if it’s the safest vape juice or not. Most cannabis oil for vapes are examples of organic CBD vape oil. If you’re thinking, “Can you mix CBD oil with E liquid from e-cigerettes?” it is possible, but remember to watch the nicotine that tends to be present in those if you aren’t interested in nicotine. CBD oil, rather than concentrates, can be used in the pens; we recommend searching how to use CBD oil in vape pen for your particular model before you just jump in.Finding safe hemp vapes isn’t difficult, so long as you do your research. There are many sources for a quality CBD vape review online to help you find the hemp vape for you. Vape pens are so common now that you can find quality ones at practically any smoke shop.
